Tropical RV Resorts

When you’re RVing, it can be nice to take a stop at the beach to relax. We found some RV resorts that will make you feel like you’re on a luxurious tropical vacation! With gorgeous views of the water, palm trees, and tiki bars with great food and drinks, you’ll never want to leave!

1. Emerald Cove Resort, California

This site is a large resort that boasts a mile of private beach access on the Colorado River. They feature a clubhouse with planned events, two dog parks, and a country store with all of the necessities. There’s even a 9-hole golf course and mini golf that make for more fun!

 

2. Low-Key Kideaway, Florida

This adults-only retreat is on the remote island of Cedar Key. They have nine waterfront sites for RVers. Low-Key also has a quirky waterfront Tiki Bar that offers great views of the Florida sunsets. The fun continues when you rent a kayak or maybe even take a quiet walk along the dock.

 

3. Stella Mare RV Resort, Texas

This resort is a newer addition to the Texas Gulf Coast in Galveston. It highlights a large swimming pool, a hot tub, and a 3,000 square foot observation deck overlooking the Gulf Coast. You’ll be at walking distance from popular places such as Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Moody Gardens, and Galveston Island State Park.

 

4. Reunion Lake RV Resort, Louisiana

This resort is a top choice because it sits on their own private lake. With a seasonal lazy river, swim-up tiki bar, giant outdoor hot tub, and more, this is the resort built for the water lovers. If you’ve worked up an appetite you can visit their convenience shop or the on-site Sonic to refuel. 

 

5. Castaways RV Resort & Campground, Maryland

Situated along Maryland’s Sinepuxent Bay, Castaways is just minutes from Ocean City and the roaming wild horses on Assateague Island. They feature a pool, private beach, dog beach, and water boat rentals on-site. You’ll also find Jackspot Waterfront Tiki Bar where they have live entertainment most nights.

 

6. Gulf Waters RV Resort, Florida

This popular snowbird destination has extra-large RV sites and even cable access! You can also visit their restaurant and poolside tiki bar on your visit. Gulf Waters offers a trolley service to Fort Meyers Beach and you can also find other restaurants and shopping nearby.

 

7. Lake Osprey RV Resort, Alabama

This high-end resort is perfect for newer Class A coaches, fifth wheels, and Class Cs. You’ll find a catch-and-release fishing pond, heated pool, and an available to use kitchen. If you enjoy golfing, you will want to check out the Soldiers Creek Golf Club while you’re visiting. 

8. Renegade’s on the River, Florida

At this resort, you’ll find beautiful waterfront camping and boating on the St. Johns River. Take the night off and try out the on-site restaurant and tiki bar. You’ll also find a river there that is great for catch bass, crappie, seasonal shrimp, and catfish.
