Must-Visit Golf Courses

Must-Visit Golf Courses

August is National Golf Month, which means it's time to pack up your Lance Camper and cruise to some of our country's best golf courses. These three courses are recognized by Golf Digest as the cream of the crop, but we suggest you take a trip in your Lance Camper to find out for yourself.

1. Augusta National Golf Club

Augusta National is a golf course that's recognized even by those who have never swung a club. It's where the esteemed annual Masters Tournament has been held since 1934. In addition to hosting one of the world's most esteemed golf events, it is a course that has changed its look countless times over the years, providing new challenges to the world's greatest golfers.

2. Pine Valley Golf Club

The Pine Valley Golf Club in Pine Valley, New Jersey is always toward the top of Golf Digest's top 100 list, and it has taken the No. 1 position numerous times. The course, developed in 1918 by George Crump and H.S. Colt, offers a unique setting in southwest New Jersey, but it's the undeniably challenging holes that draw the world's greatest golfers back year after year.

3. Cypress Point Club

The Cypress Point Club in Pebble Beach, Calif., was designed by Alister Mackenzie -- one of the designers of Augusta National -- in 1928. The glamorous setting provides a picturesque atmosphere for golfers to try their hand at the course that winds through dunes, cypress trees and rugged coastline. The course is often deemed easier than Pine Valley and Augusta National, but that's one feature that makes it more appealing to everyday golfers.
