"Adventure needn't be extreme
it just needs to be yours."
Brian Brawdy
Lance Ambassador
Lance Camper Manufacturing Corporation is pleased to have explorer
and urban/wilderness survival expert Brian Brawdy serve as a "Lance
Ambassador."

"Wonder Explore Believe" tour
Brian is a Lance owner that lives full-time out of his Lance 1181
with the goal of visiting 49 states within 2008 as a part of his
"Wonder Explore Believe" national tour appearing
on local and national TV and radio broadcasts and internationally
transmitted podcasts over the Internet at WonderExploreBelieve.net.
Many weekends, Brian will be visiting different Lance dealerships
meeting with Lance owners and prospective Lance owners showing
people how he travels and lives in his Lance camper speaking
about the benefits of going outside and exploring the outdoors.
"Adventure needn't be extreme, it just needs to be yours,"
says Brian.
Outdoor adventures
Adventure for Brian has come from kayaking the Everglades of southern
Florida studying alligators tracking the wolves of Yellowstone
hiking into the heart of Denali, Alaska in search of grizzly
bears and even learning from the monks and warriors at a
Daoist monastery in Wudang, China.
It was during his adventures in Denali, Alaska that Brian first
became acquainted with Lance by renting a Lance camper and using
it.
"After Denali, I was convinced a Lance camper would be my RV-of-choice,
so I purchased a new 1181," said Brian. "All that storage
in the 1181 is exactly what I needed for my extended trip. It handles
well on my Ford F-350 using all the Lance-recommended support equipment,"
he added.

"Green" camper
In these days of eco-consciousness, Brian's message is also about
treading lightly on the environment "green-powering"
his Lance and Ford truck with bio-diesel fuel, solar panels and
a wind turbine.
"It's my home. I live out of my Lance. I work out of my Lance.
It's never been a problem for me."
Brian has been working to get his camper to be totally self-powered.
The solar panels have a Lexan cover to prevent damage, and an extra
battery tray has been installed. He now has four high-grade batteries
and 400 watts of solar. The rain gutters have been changed to collect
rain water to then be purified for drinking water. He's installing
Rickson wheels and tires, too.

Media star
Brian's work is working with TV media and he's been heard
by millions of people who may not be active in outdoor pursuits.
As the "Outdoor Adventure Expert," he's appeared on CNN,
FOX News, Good Morning America, NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox, CW and global
TV affiliates across North America.

at the Lance factory in Lancaster, California.
Seeker and philosopher
As former New York Police Department undercover investigator and
now full-time outdoor adventurer, Brian has spent the last 20 years
studying philosophy, psychology, human physiology, the classics,
comparative religion, and wilderness and outdoor exploration all
in his personal quest to find ways to help people feel connected,
empowered and inspired in their lives.
"I love my Lance!"
"For me, Lance was just what I was looking for in an RV.
An efficient, well-designed and highly maneuverable mobile shelter
that was extremely comfortable." Brian said. "After
Denali, I knew I had to have one, and bought my 1181. It's great.
High quality, and no real problems even after all these
months. Everything in the camper's been working beautifully. I
love my Lance!"

RVIA mini-tour
The RVIA (Recreation Vehicle Industry Association) is also planning
a mini-tour featuring Brian starting in September 2008, Brian
will be taking his "green" Lance 1181 truck camper to
10 cities. His Lance is equipped to capture and use solar and
wind power. One of his key messages is that a Lance truck camper
is the ticket to the great outdoors.
